WOW how are we in November already?  This year is going so fast, to think that we came up with the idea of getting stroke survivors back into employment with Eddie’s Club and since July 2024, we have managed to get employment for Ben, Matt, Dan, Rhian, John, Steve and now Mandy  so thats 7 (Seven people) with a sense of worth and belonging once more.

The word of StrokeInformation is growing and we are reaching stroke survivors all over the world, which is quite apparent as we have just celebrated a few days ago “World Stroke Day’ yes I know we are not going to reach out to all the 17 million or so stroke survivors each year but if we at least let some of them know that there is hope out there, then we are winning.   Our “WhatsApp” group as now reached nearly 100 members, who would have thought that when we started?

WE have also won another benefit appeal for one of our service users which is just goes to show that we really do care because we’ve been there.

So please let people know about Eddie’s Club and by becoming a member they can not only get a load of merchandise, which includes a special edition wax framed certificate, air fresheners, pin badges, signed book, pens and coming soon a beanie toy Steady Eddie.  However thats not all, you will as be able to partake in awareness sessions, fundraising tasks, discounted social events and all safe in the knowledge that your contribution has got another stroke survivor back in employment once more.

SAVE THE DATE FRIDAY 4th APRIL 2025 –   Courtesy of Eagle Build, we are pleased to bring to you Eddie’s Easter Eggstravangza which will celebrate our 9th Birthday of being a registered charity.    Please reserve your seat / table now.
