Eddie’s Club Success Stories

Dan, a single parent, had his stroke 2 years ago, aged 34 and was informed that he would never walk again!!! With our help and support, his determination, hard work and willingness to NEVER GIVE UP, he has come through the other side and he has also completed a triathlon… please, please share that true story with anyone you know, as that would mean the world to me.

Sophie, a lovely young lady from Essex who lost her confidence and spirit since her stroke, another occurrence of stroke that came about because of an AVM (arteriovenous malformations) which are extremely rare, but suffice to say, 3 of our employees (Dan, Sophie and Rhian, all had AVM’s) showing that our peer support group is totally unique and very
needed.

There are many more success stories we have through Eddie’s club, which gives people that sense of worth and proves their value once more. In general, we are all too quick to write people off or give up on them, but with Eddie’s Club at the helm of what we do we are slowly changing that, and with your help we can bring more success stories.

What is Eddie’s Club?

Once you have signed up, you will receive an exclusive certificate with a special edition wax seal and a welcome pack. Your contribution directly supports getting stroke survivors back into gainful employment.

As part of your membership, you are invited to join our Monday drop-in sessions, either in person or via Zoom. These sessions offer a firsthand look at our success stories. For example, our latest employee, Dan, was told two years ago at age 34 that he would never walk again. Through his determination and our support, he is now working and recently completed a triathlon!

Additionally, your business will be featured on our podcast, “The Wobblers,” to highlight your vital support for this cause.

We look forward to the possibility of working together as we grow Eddie’s Club and support more stroke survivors.
