Welcome to July, it is always my favourite month as it’s the month of my original birth not my second shot after my stroke.  Things are starting to get in place which will make us stand out from any other peer led support set up, so please bare with us whilst we cross all the t’s and dot all the I’s.

Jun_Jul26 Please click here for our very latest newsletter and feel free to message us to suggest items for our next edition which we hope to release in September 2026.

I would like to add that as good as we are we know we cannot fix everybody unfortunately.   Yes, we will always try our best but ironically after speaking to another Stroke survivor recently they even said that typically there are several types of Stoke survivors.  Ones who are told something like you will never walk again and they see it as a challenge and manage to get walking again quicker than expected.   The take home point here is that it is only the individual themselves that can do it.   Ones who just accept what they are told and dont question it, thats their new way of life or the Look at me, I had a stroke, please feel sorry for me.

Ultimately it is down to YOU
