2020 – December

2020 – December

The start of the last month of the year, where we used to be excited to open the window to see which shaped chocolate we would reveal.  I guess my point here is that we get used to taking so many things for granted and it really pays testament to the saying don’t count the days, make the days count.  That is so true as stroke survivors, yes there are days where they are not as good as a previous one and we may not feel as motivated but we are still ALIVE and whilst we are alive there is always HOPE.

December is a perfect time to reflect on what you have achieved during the year, yes even in this very very strange year, we have achieved a great deal.

https://www.avivacommunityfund.co.uk/strokeinformation   Would help us achieve so much more, if we don’t do this it just doesn’t happen but imagine what difference this could mean to someone who needs that HOPE now.

Pre COVID our weekly FREE drop in was reaching out to great numbers attending our sessions, where we could just chew the fat, have a winge, have a moan, have a cry, have a laugh and what is more  just be there for each other.

2021 will see StrokeInformations VPN really take off, we know we can make a difference to other people impacted by Stroke anywhere else in the world, yes really, It will not matter if you are here in Cheshire / Greater Manchester, or in Chipping Norton, Cambuslang, Calverstown (Co Kildare), Colorado or another community – ContactUs@StrokeInformation.co.uk to find out how by placing VPN in the subject title.

So as potential final post for this crazy year, I just want to thank all involved with strokeinformation, beit a supporter, volunteer, a patron, a trustee, a director, an ambassador, an attendee of our drop ins at Disability Stockport who themselves have been truly amazing in what can only be described as a year not to be matched annus horribilis a someone once said.    So Onwards & Upwords, Animo Et Fide (Courage & Faith)
