 Re United after 38 years, yes after tracking him down in Ibiza in 1978 when he had just returned to his hotel after a run, my footballing idol, Gordon Hill, couldn’t do enough to make my first meeting with him so special, so as well as being one of our patron’s, I do keep in touch with him and when he was staying local and wanted to watch a local game being as though United are playing on the day he returns to the US, its the very least I could do was to welcome him to Edgeley Park to watch Stockport County lose to Lowestoft Town, not a great game and not a good display but even in football you can have an off day.  Safe journey back and see you again real soon pal.   Take Care & God Bless.
