HOT HOT HOT, well June came and went and what an end to the month, as well as being the start of July and someone turning another year older on the same day a HRH Princess Diana RIP, its been a massive month for us, we are looking very close to get charity status and my co-founder also turns another year older and wiser on the 10th July, all i can say is that if he counted his age in dog years, he would be dead now!!!!!    As a survivor, every day is special, but this  day is super special as he is getting married to the lovely, insane  Joy and yes Im honoured to best man, Ive got a little something special planned and Ive not even don’t any kind of speech for my cameo best man performance.    We had a great meeting with Sarah our accountants this month and also things are moving along with Mr West or Fred as he is commonly known to John & I – We also went to see the legend that is Mr Wild who is coming on great guns (although his jokes have got no better).

I think the highlight so far this month and I know we are just in it, is that we now have an appointment with Ann Coffey MP & we had a visit from Trish, a stroke survivor from Stockport who had read about what we do and she had to come and visit one of our drop inns at Life Leisure – I guess if nothing else it proves that something is missing in our community.   Lastly for now, if you know anyone that has been impacted by Stroke either directly or indirectly, please get in touch we would love to help.
