August 2021

Hello and welcome to August 2021, have you heard our latest podcast?

https://soundcloud.com/user-510645688/stroke-information-podcast-first-draft-w-music

Take a listen and please let us know what you think

Also we have our book also out now called Injury Time and is reasonably priced at £10 + postage, remember that all proceeds will be split between our charity and the Michelle Wheatley Fund which we set up for one of our patrons, Michelle who had her stroke aged 27 and remains locked in after 10 years.  The podcast and the book really does give you a great idea about what makes our charity so very very different.

Its fair to say that the last 18 months have been difficult for everyone but our normal fundraising activities havent been allowed to go ahead because of COVID and isolation restrictions but as we emerge out of the lockdown and the restrictions we are trying to get back to as normal as we can be, we are going to commence our free weekly drop ins again starting on Monday 9th August, so please come along or if you prefer you can join us via Zoom.  Please email contactus@Strokeinformation.co.uk   for further details.

In the pipeline we have a calendar planned with some of the lovely photo’s shot by our very own trustee and director Tim Hill, again watch this space or if you would like to be informed when its ready, again drop us an email.

Another thing that is worth considering is our Charity golf day, we are potentially having a four ball competition for teams of 4 players, starting off with a breakfast barm, a round of golf followed by a fantastic meal in the clubhouse plus it support the work that we do.

Also coming soon our good friends at Cheadle Heath Nomads are having a charity car boot sale in aid of strokeinformation, please message for more details.
